  1. Dear Samarat,

I am happy to see you and your blog! :) I love the background of the plane! :) It reminds me of freedom and creativity!

It's also nice to know that I am not the only one who has faced with blogging for almost the first time in her life. I am sure we will both and all of us together learn a lot with the help and comments both from Sean and the groupmates.

I think we will also learn in future how to update our blogs and make them look user friendly! Practice makes perfect, right? :)

It's really nice to know you, Samarat. :)

  2. I have used technology for 16 or more years in my classes, either with a videobeam and a DVD, and now more with the chances of ICTs. I am sure you will learn a lot and start enjoying ICTs in your classes. You do not have to be an expert in programming languages. just find the right resources and put them together in a single place, such as your blog.

  4. Hi, Samarat
I like your blog a lot - sometimes it is simplicity and neatness that let things stand out and make good impression.
As for your thoughts of week 2, I have exactly the same feelings. I was surprised how many other search engines exist, in addition to Google and Yahoo. The most exciting thing was the exchange of valuable links between course participants. I appreciate working on a team of such enthusiastic and hard-working people.
    Wish you all the best,
    Tetiana

  5. Hello Samarat,

I am happy you are satisfied with the second week of our course. :) I would also share your opinion that I have not been disappointed for a second and I know for sure that we will learn a lot in future and will be able to share this valuable information with both our colleagues and students.

I do like your idea over writing the ABCD objectives for the students on the board! I have never tried this however I have heard some teachers use this method and they say it works very well. I guess, I will also try this one day and let's share our impressions on how this has worked, ok? :)

You have mentioned that you have your English club. Could you tell me a little bit more about it? What kind of club is this and what do you do in the club? Are there only your students, are there other English teachers or only you? The idea of the English club sounds great and I have been thinking of setting one up at our university. I would really be happy to learn more about it from you. :)

I love your question about Google too. :) I am sure we have all heard of other sites and search engines yet we have been used to employing Google for our search. I am sure we will change this attittude from now on and will use the great sites offered by NoodleTools.

    Best wishes,

    Jurga.

    1. Hi Jurgita,
Thank you for your kind post. I am happy to receive a comment from you! I 'll be glad to share my impressions with you on ABCD objectives!
As for our English club, we have it every Saturday 2 times: one for Starter, Elementary levels and the second is for Upper levels. For the first we usually offer different games, saying tongue twisters, proverbs, etc; in the second group we usually have discussions on different topics. The main aim of the club is to develop students’ speaking skills (accuracy and fluency). Most of our students are very shy and it’s difficult to make them speak up. All our activities are focused on developing students’ confidence in speaking. Usually clubs are conducted by one teacher, sometimes we invite a PC volunteer, so the students have a chance to practice language with a native speaker.
      Best regards,
      Samarat
